Combining state-of-the art drivers and sophisticated crossovers with LAT Series technology, Dan D'Agostino has designed the flagship LAT-1000 in the LAT-1000 Series as a 3-way floor standing loudspeaker with three, 8" custom made aluminum cone woofers, two 5.25" magnesium cone midrange drivers, and a 1" neodymium tweeter for lower distortion playback. A special aluminum sub-enclosure houses the midrange and tweeter, isolating them from the main cabinet. Crossover circuitry is divided among three assemblies--one each for the woofer, midrange, and tweeter networks.
