HTS2 to HTS 7.1 Upgrade
The HTS2 to HTS7.1 upgrade incorporates all of the features of the HTS7.1 into the HTS2 platform. This upgrade is extensive, in which every major electronic assembly is changed out for a new assembly. New features include: Zone 2 variable volume, dual microprocessors, expanded memory, multi-channel input, Krell Current Mode output stage, 8-channel Krell Room EQ.
Full Power Balanced CAST to Full Power Balanced X Series Upgrade
The Full Power Balanced CAST to Full Power Balanced X Series upgrade is available for both stereo and monaural Full Power Balanced CAST amplifiers. The upgrade features a new input circuit design and a Sustained Plateau Bias software update. The new input circuitry provides extended bandwidth and utilizes CAST II topologies for greater resolution. The software update employs the latest Sustained Plateau Bias algorithm and extends the class A power band of each channel by 100 W.
Full Power Balanced to Full Power Balanced CAST Upgrade
The Full Power Balanced to Full Power Balanced CAST upgrade adds CAST input circuitry and connectors. Upgraded Full Power Balanced amplifiers are fully compatible with Krell CAST source components and preamplifiers.
LAT-1 to LAT-1000 Upgrade
The LAT-1 to LAT-1000 upgrade is an extensive upgrade. All drivers, and crossovers are replaced. The triple port rear panel is changed to one very large, tuned port. Only the side, top, and bottom chassis components are reused. The upgraded loudspeaker is identical to a production LAT-1000 in every respect.

The LAT-2 to LAT-2000 upgrade utilizes the LAT-2 enclosure and incorporates new drivers and crossovers. The upgraded loudspeaker is identical to a production LAT-2000 in every respect.

The HDMI upgrade for the Showcase DVD and DVD Standard provides high quality digital video and audio transmission technology and is compatible with a wide range of top quality display devices. Selectable resolutions include: 480p, 720p and 1080i.
