FEATURES
The Resolution Sub features a 1" MDF enclosure with 2" thick front and rear baffles. A sealed box design promotes clean, accurate bass, and a separate control cavity completely isolates electronics package from the driver.
A 15" driver utilizes a very stiff, reinforced polypropylene cone and an extra long voice coil. Peak to Peak linear travel is a very impressive 1-3/8". Special motor geometry focuses the magnetic field in the gap. This promotes a piston-like cone motion and lowers driver-born distortions.
The rear mounted, 700 watt Krell Current Mode power amplifier is a Class AB design. Ample power reserves are insured through the use of a 1000-watt transformer and 55,000 microfarads of filter capacitance. This Class AB amplifier is a proprietary Krell deign. It provides power quickly, and sustains power indefinitely providing complete control of the driver under the most demanding conditions.
A user-configurable, stereo crossover features independent low and high pass Butterworth filters with selectable frequencies at 40, 60, 80 and 100 Hz. Balanced and single ended inputs are provided. Remote turn-on options include signal sensing inputs and 12 VDC trigger.
