KRELL ADDS 24-bit/96K Hz PROCESSING TO THE KPS 25sc
Orange, CT -- Krell Industries, Inc., manufacturer of high-end audio and video equipment for serious music enthusiasts and home theater aficionados, is pleased to announce that the KPS 25sc Krell Playback System, the category leader among high performance compact disc players, is now shipping with 24bit/96KHz processing. This important upgrade includes a new 24bit/96KHz digital receiver and four 24-bit digital-to-analog converters. A Krell proprietary timing circuit works in conjunction with the digital receiver for jitter-free performance. The advanced DACs are configured for balanced operation, providing the KPS 25sc with reference quality playback performance both from compact discs recorded in the standard 16bit/44.1KHz format and from 24bit/96KHz Digital Audio Discs. The award winning KPS 25sc is prized for its state-of-the-art analog and digital performance and includes our own CAST™ technology. Its rugged modular construction is designed for upgradeability, to accommodate technological and performance improvements as they become available.
CAST, Current Audio Signal Transmission, is a Krell proprietary technology for connecting analog components that provides the most accurate signal transfer from one component to the next. It utilizes the sonic purity of current and eliminates signal degradation caused by cable interaction while transmitting signals in voltage.
This KPS 25sc upgrade continues the long standing Krell tradition of building high performance components capable of adapting to the latest technological and engineering innovation and offers music aficionados the opportunity to enjoy the latest music software while continuing to maintain the absolute integrity of the analog audio signal.
