KRELL INTRODUCES THE KCT, THE FIRST CURRENT TUNNEL PREAMPLIFIER

The KCT, or Krell Current Tunnel, is the first preamplifier to incorporate Krell Current Tunnel topology featuring CAST™ technology. Krell Current Tunnel topology is a breakthrough circuit design that delivers the most efficient signal transmission from the input of the preamplifier to its output. This circuit topology shelters the audio signal from voltage interference and provides a current domain conduit for internal signal transmission in the same fashion that a tunnel protects what is inside it while securing a safe passage from entry to exit. When the signal reaches the output stage, the KCT adds Krell CAST technology. CAST, Current Audio Signal Transmission, is a Krell proprietary technology for connecting analog components that provides the most accurate signal transfer from one component to the next.

Designed for contemporary multi-function applications, the Krell KCT incorporates features that make it the performance choice for traditional stereo, multi-room, or home theater systems. As a stereo preamplifier, the KCT delivers state-of-the-art music reproduction to either of two independently selectable zones. Krell's unique Theater Throughput™ allows the user to connect an outboard audio-video processor (such as the Krell Home Theater Standard) for seamless integration into home theater systems. • A 4 line 24 character Vacuum Fluorescent Display provides complete operational information.
