The KPS 28c Compact Disc Player and the Krell Current Tunnel (KCT) Preamplifier, the first Krell CAST CD player and CAST preamplifier, define the standard for high performance audio playback.

The Master Reference Subwoofer (MRS) was the first loudspeaker from Krell, developed to produce prodigious bass in either music or home entertainment applications. The MRS is innovative in its use of a solid aluminum housing, a powerful built-in 2600 Watt Class A amplifier, and a fully adjustable electronic crossover with five memory settings and an included remote control. Weighing in at almost 400 lbs. and able to reproduce a 20 Hz tone to 120 dB of SPL, the Master Reference Subwoofer represents the ultimate triumph of force over area.

The DVD Standard is the first DVD player to combine reference quality video images and impeccable build quality with the legendary Krell audio performance. Balanced analog audio outputs and proprietary digital algorithms insure superb performance from both audio and video source material. The DVD Standard includes multiple audio and video outputs, including RGB video and RS-232 systems control, for easy integration into the most sophisticated home entertainment systems.

The Lossless Acoustic Transducers (LAT loudspeakers) are the final piece of Dan D'Agostino's vision for a complete Krell system. Visually elegant, sonically neutral, and equally adept for playing either music or movies, the LAT loudspeakers are a benchmark of Krell performance. The solid aluminum enclosure totally eliminates cabinet resonance, while the massive custom-designed crossover networks are built to handle powerful Krell amplifiers.

The fourth generation Krell preamplifier/processor, the Home Theater Standard 7.1, scales new heights for sonic performance, video performance, and ease of system integration. Incorporating a unique digital room equalizer with four memory presets, the HTS 7.1 allows the user to compensate for room acoustic anomalies to make any seat the best in the house. Wide video bandwidth and a plethora of inputs and outputs make whole house control an easy proposition. And its modular design architecture and software upgradeability render the HTS 7.1 virtually immune to obsolescence.

The SACD Standard is the one CD player for a truly high performance audio system. It combines superb stereo performance, including balanced outputs, and single-ended multi-channel outputs for use in either traditional stereo or surround sound applications. Separate power supplies for the analog and digital sections insure maximum performance from both sections. With its unique chassis-in-a-chassis design, the SACD Standard dramatically reduces low-level vibrations that can damage the integrity of the musical signal resulting in a SACD player that delivers superb results for regular CDs as well.
