Important information about
the Krell product warranty

All new Krell components purchased from Krell authorized dealers or distributors are covered by a limited warranty of five years for parts and labor on circuitry. Krell compact disc players are covered by a limited warranty of five years for parts and labor on circuitry, and three years for parts and labor on all mechanical components. Loudspeaker driver assemblies have a warranty of one year, for defects due to manufacture only. If the product fails to perform at any time during the warranty period, Krell will repair it at no cost to the original owner, except as set forth in the warranty.

A full description of warranty benefits is published in the owner's manual shipped with your component. You may wish to contact your Krell authorized dealer or distributor for more information about your warranty.

For your protection, we suggest that you purchase your next Krell component from a Krell authorized dealer or distributor. Krell components purchased from other sources may lack warranty protection. The Where to buy section of this website has a list of Krell authorized dealers or distributors in your area.

Return Authorization Procedure

If you believe there is a problem with your component, please contact your dealer, distributor, or the Krell factory to discuss the problem before you return the component for repair. To expedite service, you may wish to complete and e-mail the Service Request Form below.


To return a product to Krell, please follow this procedure so that we may serve you better:

1. Obtain a Return Authorization Number (R/A number) and shipping address from the Krell Service Department.

2. Insure and accept all liability for loss of or damage to this product during shipment to the Krell factory and prepay all shipping charges. Please see the Warranty page in the manual, concerning liability for shipping damage and shipping charges.

The product may also be hand delivered if arrangements with the Service Department have been made in advance. Proof of purchase may be required for warranty validation at the time of hand delivery.

Important
Use the original packaging to ensure safe transit of this product to the dealer, distributor, or factory. Krell may, at its discretion, return this product in new packaging and bill the owner for such packaging if the product received by Krell was boxed in non-standard packaging or if the original packaging was so damaged that it was unusable. If Krell determines that new packaging is required, the owner will be notified before the product is returned.

To purchase additional packaging, please contact your authorized dealer, distributor, or the Krell Service Department.



Conditions of In-house Service

Krell Industries, Inc. reserves the right to request payment in advance, including shipping charges if appropriate, for any out-of-warranty product service. Estimates will be provided, with a +/- 20% margin of variability. Payment requests will be based on these estimates, and can be paid by cash, check, money order, or VISA / MASTERCARD credit cards. Following receipt of payment, service will commence.

Customers will be notified upon the completion of repairs on their unit(s). Every attempt will be made to reach the customer. The serviced items will be held for 30 days from the notification date with no storage fee. Following 30 days, there will be a storage charge of $25.00 per day. This storage fee must be paid prior to release of the unit(s).

Krell Industries, Inc. is not responsible for any service items unclaimed for 90 days.
