Krell Introduces New KAV Series
Two and Three-channel Amplifiers

New York City--Krell Industries, Inc. is pleased to announce the introduction of two new KAV Series amplifiers, the KAV-2250 and KAV-3250, which recently premiered at the Home Entertainment 2001 Show in New York City. With 250 Watts per channel, the two-channel KAV-2250 and the three-channel KAV-3250 are powerful new additions to the beautiful new KAV Series introduced earlier this year.

The KAV-2250 and KAV-3250 share a great deal of design and manufacturing technology. In addition to the new 17.25 in. wide Architech™ construction chassis, both amplifiers use the same massive 2,000 VA toroidal transformer. Each boasts the latest circuit topology from Krell™ and a substantial power output of 250 Watts per channel into 8 Ohms (500 Watts per channel into 4 Ohms). Moreover, adjacent channels of each amplifier can be bridged to deliver 1000 Watts into 8 Ohms. Multi Amp Throughput™ (MAT) allows a single input to drive all output channels of both amplifiers.

Both the KAV-2250 and the KAV-3250 feature the newest design enhancements from Krell, which assure huge output current capability and deliver further sonic refinement. The amplifiers employ ten output and four driver devices per channel. The gain stages use Krell Current Mode™, discrete Class A, fully complementary circuitry. Extensive power supply filtering and decoupling between stages assure low noise and high stability. The amplifier circuitry also features very low negative feedback.
